Sorceress 2022 update
Yo!
It's been 4 years since this was updated, and just about 3 since I last shared anything playable. This new demo doesn't seem to contain a lot of new stuff on the surface but the game itself is much more polished, tidy and overall just more ready to be worked on.
What can you expect from this new version? A 15 minutes long first level, which is meant to be a tutorial and introduces all the essentials as well as a bit of story. And then a testing room where you can play around with all the stuff that didn't quite fit in in what's meant to be the first minutes of the game but that will be essential to later proper levels for sure.
It's quite fun I think, you can summon enemies and have a tussle with them, if you spawn too many they will surely fight amongst themselves and it will be total mayhem but the game should hold up well enough.
I know that doesn't sound like a lot for a 3 year long gap, but I've been juggling Sorceress with my work and personal life, plus I've been refactoring several major components of the game to basically build a proper foundation to then make content in a way that doesn't make me want to kill myself. And, gotta say, the game is solid, is healthy and it's a pleasure to work with, sorry if sounds like bragging but I'm just honestly really happy about it.
Anyway, hope that wasn't too boring! Please leave any feedback and/or critique if you do play it, I really do appreciate it!
